To celebrate our recent marriage we decided to try the Crown after seeing some great looking food on Facebook. We went hoping for a traditional Sunday roast. Unfortunately we didn't notice the recent change to the menu due to the weather. The host explaned the chef's vision and we decided to stay and try something different. We are so glad we did and loved over course. My wife had the Pate and I the Buratta to start. Both brimming with flavors and perfect portions . We followed with chicken and  the jerk pork. Again, great portions and abundance of flavours. Although we didn't feel like we could fit a desert in, the host kindly brought us an amazing chocolate tart. My wife said it was the best desert she has ever had and we will be returning for that desert and other events shortly. Thanks to the host, chef and waitress for making our visit special. My wife and I have dined here twice in the last month and both meals were outstanding. The food is absolutely delicious and the service fantastic too. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Made to feel right at home. Food wise, excellent. A good mix of bar snacks, pub meals and finer dining options. Not your normal pub. Landlady very knowledgable about her excellent wines and the beers are good too. The food is not your average pub food, it's just on another level. Sublime. It looks beautiful and is absolutely top quality. The pub itself is cosy, comfortable and welcoming. Can't fault anything about it.

Came here for Sunday lunch with a big party and couldn’t be happier. The waitress was polite and professional and the food was spot on. Classic, tasty Sunday roast. Our dog was welcomed and fussed and he got a bowl of water. Definitely coming back.

Spontaneous visit from camping at Harbury fields up the road and wow were we happy we did! Lovely setting, great menu of homemade food wonderfully prepared and presented - lovely atmosphere in the pub and a cracking pint of beer too. The Crown Inn hosted the wake for a family member, and the spread of savoury and sweet food was excellent (the carrot cake was a standout). The staff was helpful and reactive as we planned the event. We ended up coming back to eat in the evening, and it was one of the best pub meals I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.
